This document provides information and procedural instructions for upgrading SDB 2018 R1 database to SDB 2020 or an older SDB 2018 database all the way to SDB 2020. This document also provides the information about pre-mandatory scripts that needs to be executed for upgrading SDB 2018/2018 R1 database with SRD 8.4.0 to SDB 2020 with SRD 8.4.0.
The migration procedure involves use of the interactive web-based tool, SDB Merge, for merging data into SDB 2018/2018 R1 database from SDB 2020 database. The merge tool will provide flexibility to select/view and merge required content changes as part of SDB 2020 to get into customer database.
