Sample Material/work groups are created to group materials or services. Sample material/work groups are assigned to sample suppliers who can provide the corresponding materials or services. On requisitions, inquiries, and agreements, these material/work groups are used as filter criteria to find the appropriate suppliers.

Sample material/work groups and the material/work group types are maintained on the Material/Work Groups menu.
