Standard Database for Smart Reference Data Version
12.4

The SDB Merge tool is used to connect two SDB databases and display the differences in data between the two databases on the user interface. Using this visual representation, you can merge data. Merging of data is always from the source to the target database.

Enabled SDB Migration to Non SDB Database Customers

SDB 12.4 Merge Tool is enhanced to merge the SDB delivered content from SDB databases to Non-SDB Database. Users can connect to the SDB Delivered Database as Source and the Customer Database as Target. SDB Merge Tool will provide the differences in data between two different product groups in a user interface to decide which data would be merged into the target database.

In the existing Merge Tool, users can connect only to SDB databases. Currently, the Merge Tool compares only the SDB product group data, and merges data into the SDB product group only. So, users need to compare the SDB delivered data with the customer data (SDB/non-SDB) data and then decide which data would be added/modified in their database.

Provided Ability to merge data for new business objects under Administration node

This release of the SDB Merge Tool has been enhanced by integrating new business objects under Administration Node. With the current merge tool, data related to Roles/Menus, User Security, DBA Settings and User Security, and so on can also be viewed and merged.
