The SDB Merge tool is used to connect two SDB databases and display the differences in data between the two databases on the user interface. Using this visual representation, you can merge data. Merging of data is always from the source to the target database.
Ability to compare data between two different CADWorx configurations using the Custom Compare in Merge Tool
This release of the SDB Merge Tool provides the ability to compare the merge data between two different CADWorx configurations using the custom compare. Previously, the merge tool allowed merging of the data between same CADWorx configurations, however, users may also need to merge data between two different configurations. The recent release of the SDB Merge Tool now supports merging between two different configurations, which includes data table configuration, templates, and data table or item mappings.
The SDB Merge Tool also provides the Dependencies option. This option enables you to check the dependencies between the data table configuration, templates, and data table or item mappings, and filter the corresponding mapped templates for selected data table configurations and vice versa.
Provided Ability to merge 'Save Direct Child records' functionality for Table Management
This release of the SDB Merge Tool enhanced to provide ‘Save Direct Children’ functionality, which merges/saves the child dependencies for source only parent nodes in one go for Table Management records.
Save Direct Children functionality has been provided at multiple hierarchies (Table level, Table Group level and Table Details level) under table management.
