This section describes how to migrate SDB from older versions (before SDB 2018) to the latest version.

  1. Upgrade the SDB database to SRD 10.5.

  2. Update or merge the Customer Installed Procedures (CIPs) with SRD 10.5.

  3. Run the SDB version update statement.

  4. Run the SDB upgrade script.

  5. Update or merge the CIPs with the SDB 12.6 packages.

  6. Migrate the SDB database using the SDB Merge Tool.

Migration of older versions of SDB (before SDB 2018) to SDB 12.6 is not an authorized process. It may result in unexpected errors, depending on the version of the SDB database.
