Ensure that you have installed the SRD database server setup on the computer with
the Microsoft Windows Server 2022 or Microsoft Windows Server 2019 operating system.

Insert the SDB product CD or DVD.

Right-click Setup.exe in the root folder of the CD or DVD and select Run as administrator.

Select Start Setup on the Standard Database for Smart Reference Data 12.6 setup page.

On the Details and Features Information page, enter a username, company name, installation path, and serial number.

Select Next.
The default folder location for the SDB installation is 'C:\Program Files\'.

On the License Agreement page, select your country from the list to view the license agreement.

Read the license agreement, and then select the agreement checkbox to accept the terms.

Select Install. The setup will configure your new software installation.

Select Finish when the installation is complete.
