Pause the pointer over the a needed grid plane mark on the 2D grids ruler.
A red dotted line displays. This represents the intersection between the plane and the sketching plane.

Click on the red dotted line.
The plane is imported into Sketch 2D and is displayed as the a blue dotted line.

Repeat these steps as needed to add other grid planes.

Use the planes to constrain geometry.
