  1. Double-click the Duplicate Tag Report.exe in the ..\SmartPlant\P&ID Workstation\bin folder to open the Duplicate Item Tag Report Utility Dialog.

  2. Select Connect To Active Plant.

  3. Watch the Status box to see when the connection is complete.

  4. Select Create Duplicate Item Tag Report. The report is named <YourPlant>-DuplicateTags.xls and is placed in your TEMP folder.

  5. When the report is complete, close the Duplicate Item Tag Report Utility.

  6. Review the report using Microsoft Excel.
