-
In the primary file, click Markup > Draw > Hot Spot .
-
Click the mouse at one corner of the area, and drag the mouse to the opposite corner of a rectangle.
-
When the rectangle has surrounded the area you want, release the mouse button.
-
In the secondary file, use the mouse to draw a rectangle around the area you want to link to the hot spot.
-
The Hot Spot command is available only when a markup layer is active.
-
Hot spots can link to a different area on the same file rather than a secondary file.
-
Once you have drawn a hot spot area in the primary file, all other windows displaying files in SmartPlant Markup Plus are placed in target mode. While in target mode, you may draw a hot spot target about a portion of the image, but all other commands are deactivated. Once you have selected a hot spot target, other commands become available again.
