Unique item codes
SmartPlant Isometrics uses the item code (Item Code 1) and three bores to locate a component. As such, this combination must be unique. If you select Unique item code, when the software encounters a duplicate component in the PDS specification (same Item code 1 and bores), I-Convert assumes this component already exists and does not create it again. However, if Unique item codes is not selected, the software appends _Cn to the item code in order to make the component unique.
Item Code 1 and Item Code 2
Allows you to specify the item codes. For example, the keyword SPREF uses the full SPREF attribute, while the keyword ITEMCODE removes the specification reference from the SPREF. The software considers any other keyword that you enter to be a user-defined attribute (UDA). If the software finds the specified UDA for the component, it uses its attribute value as the item code.
Bore delimiter
Removes the bore from Item Code 1. Select the PDMS bore delimiter (&, @, or : ) in the list.
OK
Accepts all changes and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Cancels all changes and closes the dialog box.
Apply
Accepts all changes without closing the dialog box.
Defaults
Resets all settings in the dialog box to the stored defaults.
