To open the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, click SmartPlant > Browser. Then, click Launch Desktop Client on the Browse Published Version for Compare dialog box.
Document name - Displays a document name from the SmartPlant Foundation database.
Browse Document - Allows you to select a different document in the SmartPlant Foundation database.
Revision and version - Displays the revision number and version number of the documents. By default, the documents are sorted by Creation Date. You can sort the result by clicking the column header. Select one of the displayed documents.
Compare with Tool - Compares the SmartPlant Foundation database document with the selected tool document. The results display in Desktop Client.
Launch Desktop Client - Opens Desktop Client and displays the defined document (as defined in the Document name field).
This command is available only if you have registered the active plant using the
SmartPlant Registration Wizard.
