SmartPlant Test Tool.Net connects and registers with SmartPlant® Foundation through the SmartPlant Common UI control, displays that control, and maintains its own database of plant data. In addition to an executable to provide the GUI, SmartPlant Test Tool.Net provides DLLs with which the SmartPlant Common UI control communicates with the tool. In effect, it is a stand-in for Intergraph Smart® Instrumentation, Intergraph Smart P&ID, and other authoring tools, and can be used to test many components of an integrated environment.
SmartPlant Test Tool.Net source code is delivered with SmartPlant Test Tool.Net so that developers will have available working code that demonstrates how an authoring tool may communicate with SmartPlant Common UI.
