Allows you to connect to a registered SmartPlant authoring tool. For more information, see Connect Dialog Box.

Select a tool plant name from the Plant Name list.
The remaining options are automatically filled. These options are based on the values
you supplied while registering the plant.

If you are connecting to a project, type the name of the project in SmartPlant Foundation in the Project box. Otherwise, leave the Project box empty to connect to the plant.
You can revise and publish to a project in SmartPlant Foundation, but you cannot
retrieve from a project.

Click SmartPlant > Connect. If the tool connection successfully completes, the status bar displays as Connected.
