To configure a site for use with SmartPlant Master Tag Registry, the SmartPlant Foundation site must be enabled for CDW (consolidated data warehouse). However, If you are using a shared object model site, you can still configure it for use by converting it to a CDW site.

Use the following process to convert a shared object model site to CDW and enable it for use with SmartPlant Master Tag Registry:

  • Open SmartPlant Foundation Server Manager, select the SmartPlant Foundation site, click Settings, and set the CDWEnabled value to True.

  • Either republish all documents that contain data you want in your site or reconsolidate those documents using the Reconsolidation Utility. To reconsolidate, refer to the SmartPlant Foundation Reconsolidation Utility guide available as part of the SmartPlant Foundation Developer's Toolkit supplied by Hexagon support when requested or as a customer upgrades.
