  1. In Server Manager, right-click the site you want to delete from the SPF Sites node in the tree view.

  2. Select the Delete command from the pop-up menu.

SHARED Tip You can also access the Delete command in Server Manager by selecting the site in the tree view and clicking Edit > Delete or by clicking on the toolbar.

  3. Click Yes in the confirmation window.

  4. If the site uses Smart API Manager as the authorization server, you are prompted for the Smart API Manager administrator user name and password.

These credentials are needed to connect to the Smart API Manager server to delete the associated service and identity provider for the site you are deleting. If you are deleting a Web Client site, the credentials are used to delete the associated client.

  • The site is removed from Server Manager along with the related virtual directories, application pools, and local users. When you delete a site, no data is removed from the associated database. If you need to remove the data or schema, this must be done manually. Also, the web site files under Server Files are not deleted.

  • If you are using SAM as your authorization server, deleting a site also deletes the integration clients and user in SAM.
