Before Update 12, the sorting was based on the number of contained items in descending order.

After Update 12, you can quickly sort the visual intelligence report by Name or by number of contained items ( in both ascending or descending order).

This helps you find the relevant data more easily, especially if a specific report contains a large number of data groups.

Release Bulletin notes U12 - KC - VIR Sorting

  • You can now view properties that contain a URL as hyperlinks in the results grid. For more information, see View search results. (CR-AM-105239)

Storing URLs on data elements is an efficient way to link together different information sources. You can easily follow links, helping you quickly locate and navigate to the necessary information, and it could help reduce the need to duplicate data.

The Web Client does not only support static URLs, but instead it stores URLs that contain dynamic parts, following the typical SDx/SPF syntax, which allows you to dynamically include data on the URL when it gets called.

For performance reasons, the system does not evaluate the dynamic part of the URL when it gets displayed in the list view. The dynamic expressions are evaluated only when you click on a link. It is evaluated before the URL is launched.

  • You can now remove a GeoTag hotlink from a laser scan and delete it from the database. For more information, see Explore laser scans. (CR-AM-145997)

    Tell me more

Before Update 12, you had to open the TruView Cloud/Enterprise UX to remove GeoTags.

With Update 12, you can remove the GeoTags from a TruView directly through the Web Client.

You can control access to this new functionality through access groups and methods. The method parameters also allow for the configuration of a dependent tag delete/termination method, allowing you to not only delete the GeoTag put optionally, but also the actual Tag stored in the database in one go.

Release Bulletin notes U12 - KC - TruView Connector Enhancements 1

  • You can now run an Excel format ad hoc report in the background, using a default template. An .xlsx file is generated and attached to the report result, generating a notification. For more information, see Configure a report to run as a scheduled task. (CR-AM-152339)

  • You can now unlock a temporarily locked user account. For more information, see Unlock a temporarily locked user. (CR-AM-154409)

Release Bulletin notes U12 - KC - TruView Connector Enhancements 2

  • The HxGN SDx Connector for TruView has been enhanced to support single sign-on for multiuser authenticated access, and the credentials are valid until the TruView Enterprise or Cloud server restarts or the refresh token expires. For more information, see Synchronize servers to import data. (CR-AM-153992)

    Tell me more

The “Multi User Authentication” approach has been implemented to follow the OAuth specifications in a more secure way.

Administrators now need to store the ClientID on the LaserScan connection object. When you log in, you are redirected to the TruView Server login screen instead of opening a SDx-implemented login screen.

The OAuth callback URL that needs to be configured on the TruView Server ClientApp needs to be adjusted after applying Update 12.
