SmartPlant Foundation is installed and displayed as a module in the main window of the SmartPlant Foundation Dashboard. Other installed applications are also available as separate modules from the Dashboard.
SmartPlant Foundation is delivered with an example of a custom module, which you can customize to meet your own requirements. The Intergraph.SPF.Client.Modules.Custom module can be used as a base for your own custom module application, which will also be displayed in the SmartPlant Foundation Dashboard.
The Intergraph.SPF.Client.Modules.Custom example module shows various concepts of the Model View View Model (MVVM), Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), and SmartPlant Enterprise Control Panel (SPECP) framework, which are described in further detail later in this section.
