To hit your breakpoint, click File > New > Administration > Host in the Desktop Client, which will bring up the Create form for Host. This will take a while to appear because the server will have to reload all the information into the cache because you have re-compiled the assembly.
Enter an invalid name (for example, one containing a space), and click Finish.
Visual Studio should now break within your custom assembly.
