In a similar way to Sections, the client maintains a list on startup of all the classes that inherit from DisplayItemElement. Then when a form is displayed for each display item, it will look to see if there is an overridden one by matching on the DisplayItemUID or the UID of the related schema object. Schema object could be one of PropertyDef, RelDef, EdgeDef, or Interface Def.
