The Smart Production system offers several ways to handle user permissions and authentications.
Users have individual user accounts in the Smart Production system. If you use authentications, each user needs a password to log in to the system. Logins are saved and viewed with auditing logs.
You can manage the users and permissions in the Smart Production System Settings application. Permissions define which objects and functionalities are Visible or Editable. Permissions are always assigned for user groups. A user can belong to more than one user group.
The system includes an administrator account called SysAdmin. To the SysAdmin, all features are Editable. The SysAdmin can access additional features to update user passwords and change the password policy settings.
