Purpose

This section explains how to set the relevant project defaults when starting a new project in the Smart Materials E&PI(Req) module.

Exercise

  1. Open Home > Administration > Project Defaults. The login project should be displayed in the first field. If not, click the LOV button to open the LOV window, and select the project by click on the project Name.

  2. Click the Requisition tab to display the project defaults relevant for the Requisition module.

  3. Click in the Value field of project default ZR_ADV_APR, then press to open the LOV Window, select Y, the selected value will be copied to the Value field. Press Save button to save the change. In the same way, set the below mentioned project defaults.

  4. Click the General button to display the global project defaults.

    Set the following project defaults:

    ZX_CURCY

    Select any currency from the LOV

    (predefined on Global Setup > Units).

    ZX_ORIGIN

    Select any origin from the LOV

    (predefined on Global Setup > Materials Setup > Origins ).

  5. Click Procurement tab to display the project defaults relevant for the MSCM module.

    Set the following project defaults:

    ZP_MS_CRT

    Select N from the LOV (no automatic creation of requisition milestones).

    ZP_MS_TRCK

    Select N from the LOV (no milestone tracking).

  6. Save the changes, and then close the screen by clicking Home from the top menu path.
