Place custom pages in the standard menu

Customer-created content pages can be placed anywhere in the standard menus by relating them to the appropriate parent menu item on the Administration > Roles and Menus > Menus screen.

For example, to add a self-created page to the Procurement overview, assign the menu entry to the appropriate parent BIR_OVGRP.

Create sub-menus / groups

To create a sub-menu / group in the Home navigation menu, add a BIR_REPORT type entry in Administration > Roles and Menus > Menus, and assign BIR_CUST as parent. Then assign at least one other BIR_REPORT type menu item to this sub-menu item.

It is not necessary to add an entry for the sub-menu / group in Home > Administration > Manage Custom Menu URLs, because these entries would be ignored.

The sub-menu / group will show up as sibling of the standard Custom Menu, and its assigned menu items appear below it. You can create more than one sub-menu, whereby the depth of nesting menus is restricted to one level only.

Custom sub-menus / groups can be placed in the standard menus, following the same rules as for placing them in the custom navigation menu.

Create your own menu structure

It is feasible to hide the standard menu entry from the custom navigation menu by not assigning any menu items to BIR_CUST in Administration > Roles and Menus > Menus, except these which should serve as sub-menus. This option may be useful if you want to structure your custom pages, giving meaningful titles on your own sub-menus in the custom navigation menu.
