There are three types of configurations: user, group, and device.
Order of precedence for configurations
When a license is requested, the software determines the configuration to use based on the following order of precedence:

User configuration for the specific user

Group configuration for the Active Directory group that the user is a member of, if any

Device configuration for the device being used
If Intergraph Smart Licensing cannot find a license, it does not roll from the current
configuration to another loaded configuration. Similarly, it does not roll from one
project to another. It only rolls from one keystore to another in the same project
of the current configuration. You can go to the configuration tab to see the current
configuration.
