The client settings for Smart Licensing are stored on the computer on which the client is running. However, in a Citrix environment, an application can be launched from a different computer each time the application is started. To ensure the proper client settings are used, employ one of the following methods:

Set the client settings using environment variables before the licensed application is started.

Prompt the user to specify the client settings before the licensed application is started. For more information, see Command line options for launching the client.
