Group configurations are supported when you set up licensing for sites implemented
using IIS (Web Server), such as HxGN SDx, but are not currently supported for SmartPlant
Foundation.
You can set up licensing so that an application implemented using IIS (Web Server) sites, such as HxGN SDx, can support group configuration connection info (.cci) files.
This is done by adding a valid domain to the ISLUserDomain setting found in the License Manager site settings in Server Manager. The domain value must match your ISL group CCI setup. For more information on the ISLUserDomain setting in Server Manager, see License Site Settings node properties.
Group CCI configurations can be used to manage SDx user logins; however, SDx also
requires a device CCI configuration for confirming specific SDx feature access.
