A lookup table is a .xml file that is stored on the local computer. It provides a one-to-one cross-reference between strings for the purposes of performing a search and replace of table and material data.
Using the LookUp Table dialog box, you create, edit, and delete lookup tables. This dialog box is accessible by clicking LookUp Tables on either the Modifier Builder (Modifier tab) or Find and Modify (Lookup tab) dialog boxes.

Click Look Up Tables.
The LookUp Tables dialog displays.

Complete the fields in the Lookup table grid.

Type a name for the lookup table in the Name box.

Click Save, and then click Close.

To clear the contents in the Lookup table grid, click Clear.

To view a list of the lookup tables that are saved on the local computer, click More.
