Give SPFUsers full control permissions to the SPFSmartConverter folder. You can find the folder at [installation directory]\SmartPlant\Foundation.

In the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, right-click the required document class, and click Edit Classification > Update Document Type to open the Update Document Type dialog box.

Select the Convert Documents for Navigation check box.

Attach the HotSpotter and the SmartConverter .ini files to any document under the required document class.

Drag the document to the required document class to create the Show Smart Convert Ini relationship.
