This procedure allows you to create or update service account user.

Go to Admin > Core Admin > Users and Security – SCP > Maintain Users and Resources for SCP.

Select the Service Account tab.

Select the Actions list and choose Create Service Account User.

Provide the following details:

Login Name
-
First Name
-
(Optional) Initial
-
Last Name
-
(Optional) Email
-
Password
-

Select RUN. A new service account user is created with the Authentication Mode Native.

The new service account attributes can be modified, but the Authentication Mode cannot be modified.

Select the Active check box.

Double-click the License column to select the required license. For a new EcoSys Administrator, select System Administrator Plus User.

Select the API Access check box, if you have update access and EcoSys is set up to automatically interface with another system.

Enter the password in Password and Confirm Password columns. Select the Password Never Expires check box.

Select the Main Menu ellipsis to choose the main menu.

Select the below check boxes:

Organization Super User
-
Cost Object Super User
-
Version Super User
-
-
Select SAVE.
