Perform this check on the web server where you installed the PAS Dashboard.

To verify Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8 or later is installed and allowed on the computer:

  1. Click Windows Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features. If Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8 or later is not present, download and install that from the Microsoft site.

  2. Run the following command in CMD.exe as an administrator:

    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -I

  3. Close the CMD.exe window.

  4. Click Windows Start and enter inetmgr in the open field. This starts the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  5. Double-click the ISAPI and CGI Restrictions line to open that.

  6. Make sure that ASP.NET v4.0 is Allowed, or click those lines and then click Edit and make the ASP.NET v4.0 items Allowed.

  7. Restart IIS, and then close the Internet Information Services Manager window.
