After you have configured your Excel file for importing metadata, you are ready to import it into the database via the Metadata Import Utility. All the procedures in this section are performed in the Metadata Import Utility. The import process involves the following steps:

1. Connect to a database

2. Import your metadata

3. Save the imported metadata to the database
