When you’ve made changes to the common schema and applied them to the database, the system will compare the database structure to the information in the version of the common schema file stored in SDx. Regenerating this file and storing the updated version in SDx will ensure that an updated version of the common schema is used when authoring tools share or synchronize.
-
In the Integration feature set, find and click Common Schema Document.
-
From the Actions
menu, select Regenerate Common Schema.
-
When you receive the prompt, click Yes to regenerate the schema.
If there were any changes made to the schema since the last time the common schema
file was regenerated, it will be regenerated again to include those changes. If the
system does not find any changes to apply, you will receive a message that the common
schema is already up to date.
