Internet Information Services (IIS) is required for the web server computer. Follow the steps below to install IIS on a web server computer running Windows 10.

If your web server computer is running Windows Server 2016, see Configure IIS features for Windows Server 2016.

The minimum Internet Information Services (IIS) version is 10.0.

Open Programs and Features in Control Panel.

Select Turn Windows features On or Off in the left pane of the Programs and Features window to display the Windows Features screen.

Select the Internet Information Services check box.

Expand Internet Information Services > World Wide Web Services > Application Development Features, and then select ASP .NET 4.6 (or later).

Expand Internet Information Services > Security, and then select the Windows Authentication check box.

Click OK.
Windows Features searches for the required files, installs them, and applies the changes.
