The software writes the results of the GED process to a log file. This log file contains all the messages that the software generates as it goes through the GED process. The software logs the current user and machine at the start of each call to the GED function, as well as the execution time for each database query. Depending on the method that you use to run the GED function, you can view the log file by doing one of the following:

To view the log file created during import of a pipeline when the GED function is executed on import, select View > Log Files > Get External Data.

To view the log file created by the execution of GED just prior to drawing generation, select View > Log Files > Get External Data on Generate.
