Select Add > Annotation Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Info
on the Place toolbar.

On the Selection ribbon, select Cut-Piece-Allowance in the Type list.

Type a value in the Allowance box. For example, type 150mm.

In the Graphics window, select the section of pipe to which to add the cut-piece allowance.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software displays the corresponding short description (CPA) and the allowance value that you specified as the associated text.
The units for the values that you enter are defined on the Working Units Tab (Options Dialog).
