Click Place Coupling
on the Place toolbar.
The Selection ribbon displays.

Click
on the Selection ribbon.
The Select New Material dialog box displays.

Select the item code for the type of coupling to place, and then click OK.
The selection bar updates to show the description for the selected coupling.

Position the coupling on the pipeline.

Select a point on the pipeline to define a reference position.

Type a value in the Distance box, and then click OK
on the Selection ribbon.
