Isometric directory

Displays the folder location containing the project to which you are currently connected. This information is read-only.

Project

Displays the name of the project containing all configuration and isometric styles. This information is read-only.

Completed files

Specifies that only those POD files in the active project that meet the following criteria are available for drawing generation:

  • User status is set to Complete.

  • Have not had any drawings previously generated.

All files

Specifies that all the POD files in the current project are available for drawing generation.

Original ISOGEN files

Specifies that all original IDF or PCF files imported into the current project are available for drawing generation. Unlike All files, the Original ISOGEN files option generates drawings that exclude any changes made to the POD files in the current project. This is a convenient mechanism for generating drawings from the IDF or PCFs supplied by the Engineering contractor. In this scenario, you can easily use I-Configure set up a style that matches the Isogen style of the Engineering contractor.

When you click OK, the software retrieves those files that meet the criteria specified by selecting Completed files, All files, or Original ISOGEN files and displays them on the Select files for drawing generation dialog box.

Isometric style

Select the isometric style the software will use to generate the drawing. The style determines the Isogen settings, controls and drawing sheets that produce the isometric drawing in a particular format. Only those styles that are available in the current project display in the list.

Output units

Select the dimensional units displayed in the isometric drawing. By default, Isogen creates the drawing with the same dimensional units used in the sketch; however, you can select (on-the-fly) alternative output units. The output units you select only affect the output drawing; they do not change the Spoolgen project setting.

North arrow

Select the orientation of the North arrow in the isometric drawing. By default, Isogen creates a drawing with the same North arrow orientation used in the sketch. However, you can select (on-the-fly) an alternative orientation: TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT, BOTTOM LEFT, or BOTTOM RIGHT. The view point you select only affects the output drawing. It does not change the Spoolgen project setting.
