Select Add > Annotation Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Info
on the Place toolbar.

On the Selection ribbon, select BIP-Identifier in the Type list.

Optionally, type a message in the Text box. For example, type Break Pipe.

In the Graphics window, select the section of pipe to which to add the BIP identifier.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software displays the corresponding short description (BIP) and the message that you typed as the associated text.
