The software writes the results of the import and re-import processes to a log file. The import log file contains information typically used for diagnostic purposes, which is particularly useful when executing the Get External Data command or pre-processing instructions (in a .ppc file), as part of the piping import workflow.

Click View > Log Files > Import.
The software opens the log file using your default text editor.
During the import process, the software saves the log file on your local machine in the following location: %TEMP%\SGBatchImport.log.
