Specify action required

Defines what actions are performed during the import process.

  • Re-import current state refreshes the current file and applies any settings from the project defaults, such as weld numbers, spool numbers, repeat data, get external data, and so on, as defined in I-Configure.

  • Re-import original Isogen file re-imports the original piping data input file; thereby, reverting back to the original file. Consequently, any modifications that have been made to the file are lost.

  • Update current view refreshes graphics only. No current POD data is changed. The current state of the POD is exported to a PCF, which is processed through the SGImport style to create a new POD file. Graphics from the newly created POD are merged into the existing POD file.

Import Options

Specifies which SGImport style settings are overridden during the current import process. The initial settings that are displayed in the Re-Import dialog box are read from the current SGImport style as defined in I-Configure. You can use the options to override the default import behavior for individual files, including the use of the Replay function when Re-import original ISOGEN file is selected.

Any settings that you change are temporary for the current import action. To change settings permanently, you must modify them in I-Configure.

AutoDrawingSplit

Maps directly to the Drawing Manager > Drawing Generation > Drawing Splitting > Automatic Drawing Split property for the current style. For more information, see the Isogen Configuration Help.

IgnoreUserSplitPoints

Maps directly to the Drawing Manager > Drawing Generation > Drawing Splitting > Ignore User Split Points property for the current style. For more information, see the Isogen Configuration Help.

DrawingSize

Maps directly to the Drawing Manager > Drawing File > Sheet Size > Size property for the current style. For more information, see the Isogen Configuration Help.

Run Preprocessor

Pre-processes piping data file prior to importing.

Replay actions

Replays pipeline edits to maintain all the work that has been done on the pipeline.

Get External Data

Runs the Get External Data command. The command is used to view the log file the software creates during the import process.

Welds, Part Numbers, Split points, and Spool IDs

Specifies the action the software is to take regarding welds, part numbers, split points and spool IDs. You can select Keep, Clear, Assign, and Assign Repeat.
