After installing the new version, you must run Server Manager on the server to do the following:

Create the default root path for the SmartPlant Foundation server. By default, this path is C:\SmartPlant Foundation Server Files.

Set permissions for the server folder structure.
When you run Server Manager for the first time, you are prompted to create the folder
structure and set permissions automatically.

If you choose not to allow Server Manager the set permissions, you must either set permissions manually or run the permissions batch scripts at a later time. For more information, see Grant permissions to the folder structure on the server.
