Assign Post Weld Heat Treatment requirements for a piping class - Intergraph Smart WQMS - 5.0 - Help - Hexagon PPM

Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) is performed on a weld to ensure the material strength of a weld is retained after the welding process. This module is used to assign PWHT requirements for a piping class.

1. Click Administration > Reference Data.

2. Click PWHT Requirements.

3. Click Add Item .

4. Enter the following information:

   • Piping Class

   • IsPWHTRequired

5. Enter the piping class and select NA (Not Applicable) or Y (Yes) from IsPWHTRequired list for the piping class.

   

6. Select the piping class and click Assign PWHT . This information is updated in Piping > Welds module.
