LookUps are used to create, view, and update the welder’s details such as:

  • Certified by

  • Diameter (Dia)

  • F No

  • P no

  • Position

  • Witness By

Update Certified by value for the weld

In this module, you can add the name and details of a person who certified the weld.

  1. Click LookUps > Certified by.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Certified_by - Specifies the name of the person who certified the weld.

    • Insert User ID - Specifies the user who added the certifier.

    • Insert User - Specifies the user who added the certified by.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date when the certified by was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the certified by.

    • Update Date - Specifies the last updated date of the certifier.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the person added in Certified-by field is active.

  4. Click Save.

Update Diameter (Dia) value for the weld

In this module, you can specify the value of the diameter of the pipe/weld used in the welding process.

To create, view, and update Diameter:

  1. Click LookUps > Dia.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Diameter - Specifies the value of the diameter of the pipe/weld.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who entered the diameter.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who added the certified by record.

    • Qualified_Range - Specifies the range in which the diameter is qualified.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date the diameter was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the diameter.

    • Update Date - Specifies the most recent date the diameter was updated.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the person added in Certified-by field is active.

  4. Click Save.

Update F number for the weld

This module is used to update the details of the F number for a weld.

  1. Click LookUps > F No.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Backing - Specifies whether backing is required for F No.

    • F_No. - Specifies the value of the F No.

    • Qualified_Range - Specifies the range in which the F No. is qualified.

    • Insert_userid - Specifies the user who entered the F No.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date the F No. was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the F No.

    • Update Date - Specifies the most recent date the F No. was updated.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the F No. is active.

  4. Click Save.

Update P number for the weld

In this module, you can add and update P number details for a weld.

  1. Click LookUps > P No.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • P_No. - Specifies the value of the P No.

    • Qualified_Range - Specifies the range in which the P No. is qualified.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who entered the P No.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who added the P No.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date the P No. was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the P No.

    • Update Date - Specifies the most recent date the P No. was updated.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the P No. is active.

  4. Click Save.

You can also load P No. data from an Excel sheet using the Load Data option on the P No. page.

Add Position details

In this module, you can add position details for joint types.

  1. Click Position.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Joint_Type - Specifies the type of joint.

    • Position - Specifies the position of the weld.

    • Qualified_Range - Specifies the range in which the position is qualified.

    • Insert_user ID - Specifies the user who entered the position.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who added the position.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date the position was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the position.

    • Update Date - Specifies the most recent date the position was updated.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the position is active.

  4. Click Save.

Add Witness details

In this module, you can add the details of the person who is a witness for the selected weld.

  1. Click Witnessed By.

  2. Click Add Item .

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Witness By - Specifies the person who is the witness.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who entered the witness information.

    • Insert_User ID - Specifies the user who added the witness information.

    • Insert Date - Specifies the date the witness information was added.

    • Update User - Specifies the last user who updated any property on the witness.

    • Update Date - Specifies the date the last update happened on the witness.

    • Is Valid - Specifies whether the witness is active.

  4. Click Save.
