The Report Templates are located in the <InstallationFolderOnSever>\Smart WQMS\Models\ReportTemplates. The Report Templates in Weld Quality Management System are Microsoft Word files (docx files).

The NOI and ROI Report Template Consists of three tables:

  • Header Table – This table is to be created in the header of Microsoft Word file. The HCS is binded to this table using Rich Text Control.

  • WDCS Table – This table is also created in the header of the Microsoft Word file just below the Header Table. The WDCS is binded to this table using Rich Text Control.

  • Body Table – This table is created in the body of the Microsoft Word file. The BCS is binded to this table using Rich Text Control.

Whereas the Inspection Summary Reports and Material Traceability Reports contain only two tables that are Header Table and Body Table.

Follow the steps below to configure the Report Template:

  1. Enable Developer option in File > Options > Customize Ribbon to enable the Developer tab in the word document.

  2. Create tables in the header of word template.

  3. Select a table and click Rich Text Content Control option in the Developer tab, this gives content control to the table.

  4. Select the table and click Properties in the Developer tab.

  5. Enter the HCS ColumnSet UID in both Title and Tag box. These ColumnSet UIDs are present in the ColumnSet sheet of WQMS-Reports_Admin.xlsm file. This file is present in <Installation Folder on Server>\Smart WQMS\Models.

  6. Enter the details which the report should show in each cell. Against each cell the column item should be mapped.

  7. Click on the cell to be mapped and click Plain Text Control in the Developer tab.

  8. Copy the Column Item Name to be mapped against the detail. These are found against the column items in the WQMS-Admin Excel file in the ColumnItem sheet under the SPFColumnItem header.

  9. Paste the copied value in the content control.

  10. Select the content control and click Properties in the Developer tab.

  11. Enter the column item name in both Title and Tag fields in the dialog box below.

  12. Repeat the same for other cells as well.

  13. Create the body table with two rows or as required. RHM on the first row and click Table Properties and in the Row tab, select Repeat as header row at the top of each page.

  14. Map the BCS ColumnSet to the table as mentioned in Steps 3 to 5.

  15. Enter the header contents below the individual header cell and map the column items as mentioned in steps 6 to 11.

  16. Open the WQMS-Reports Excel, go to the sheet README and click Create All Load Files. This generates .xml and .xmlldr files that contain the data of Report Definitions.

  17. Using SPF Site Configuration Tool, load the .xmlldr file which is present in the WQMS-Reports folder.
