  1. Open WQMS-Admin Excel file.

  2. Navigate to ColumnItem sheet > SPFColumnSetColumnItem section and edit the following properties:

    • Display as() - Type the display name of the column.

    • UID - Uniquely identifies the relationship between SPFColumnSet and the column item.

    • UID1 - Type a unique identifier for the Column set.

    • UID2 - Type a unique identifier for the Column item.

    • SPFCellMandatoryInd - Type True, if you want the cell to be mandatory while creating a new object.

    • SPFCellReadOnlyInd - Type True, if you want the cell to be read only.

    • SPFDisableForView - Type True, if you want to hide any Column item in the UI for a column set.

    • WQMSPropOptionalForLoad - Type True, If you do not require any column while loading data from the Excel.

    • OrderValue - Specify the order in which the properties must display in the UI.

    • WQMSCellReadOnlyCreateInd - Type True, if you want the cell to be read-only while creating a new object.

    • WQMSDecimalPointPrecision - Type True, if you want to round off the character values up to two decimal points.

For example, if the property value is 4.84692, type TRUE to roundoff the value to 4.85.

    • Column Width - Specify the width of the column in the UI.

    • SPFDisableForEdit - Prevents users from editing the column in the UI if set to True.

    • SPFCellReadOnlyInd - Set the cell to read only. If you enter data in a cell and save it, then those column items for which this property is set to True are unavailable for editing.

    • SPFCellDefaultCreateValue - Define the default value for a cell. This property appears for cells that do not contain any data. If any data exists in the cell, then the entered data appears.

    • WQMSCellReadOnlyCreateInd - Prevents users from editing the column item when adding a new row in UI if set to True. That is, if the WQMSCellReadOnlyCreateInd is set to True on a column item, when you add a new row in the UI, you cannot enter any data in that column item.

    • WQMSDecimalPointPrecision - Define the number of decimal points at which the data should be trimmed and displayed in the UI. If you set this property to 3, the value in the cell in the respective column item is visible only to three decimal points, and the rest of the data will be discarded (after 3 decimal places).

    • WQMSCustomDateValidations - Define any date validation on column items.

      For example, NA, WQMSWeld_WeldingDate:

In this example, the entry before the comma specifies a lower limit of date and entry, and the entry after the comma specifies the upper limit of the date. If any part of the entry is set to NA, then that limit does not restrict the date.

    • WQMSCustomDisplayRegExpn - Define the portion of the value in the cell that should appear in the report. The value is trimmed to the set value, and the trimmed value is displayed in the report.

    • WQMSDropDownListProperties (column set) - Shows different properties of an object as a list by relating a column set to the column items to be populated as a list.

For example, CS_WQMSSTRFUPNOIROI_EdgeDropDownColumnSet is related to CI_WQMSWeldEdge_Component1, CI_WQMSWeldEdge_Component2, CI_WQMSWeldEdge_Component3 and so forth to component8. This displays the properties of the weld components (eight pieces) in the list for end 1 of the edge definition object.

    • WQMSPropOptionalForLoad - Ignores a column while loading if the load template does not contain the column.

    • Is Exposed for Mobile - Specify whether the property is available in the mobile application.

    • ContainerID - Specify the container in which the property definitions are loaded into the server. In this case, the container ID is WQMS.Admin.

    • Solution(s) - Define whether to include the object when generating load files. If Solution(s) is set to *, then the object must be included.

  3. Save the file.
