To define display items and edit the properties:

  1. Open the WQMS-Admin Excel file and click DisplayItem sheet.

  2. In SPFDisplayItem section, edit the following properties to define the display items:

    • UID - Type a unique identifier for the display item.

    • Name - Type a name for the section.

    • Description - Type the description for the display item.

    • Display As - Specify the display name of the section.

    • Default Value - Provide the text that must be displayed in the field in the form.

    • Type (DisplayItem) - Specify the type for the display item.

    • WQMSDisplayItemRefQueryUID - Specify the UID to create a list for the display item.
      To create a this UID, refer to Create a Reference Query UID.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  3. In Section DisplayItem (Rel) section, edit the following properties to define the display items in the particular section:

    • UID - UID.UID2.

    • UID1 - Specify the UID that is created in SPFSection section located in the Section sheet.

    • UID2 - Specify the UID that is created in SPFDisplayItem section located in DisplayItem Sheet.

    • ReadOnly? - Type TRUE, if you want the display item to be read only.

    • Mandatory? - Type TRUE, if you want the display item as a mandatory field.

    • OrderValue - Specify the order in which the display items must be displayed.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  4. in SPFDisplayItemDependentItem section, edit the following properties to view the drawings based on the values set on the display items (Module, Area, Unit):

    • UID - UID1.UID2.

    • UID1 - UID 1 is the dependant weld groups for the selected display item in UID2.

    • UID2 - UID 2 is the display item ( Area, Unit, Module) from which the weld groups will be filtered.

    • SPFDependantpathdefn - Specify the relationship between the display item views within the same section.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  5. In SPFDisplayItemPropertyDef section, edit the following properties to define the relationship between database properties and display items:

    • UID - UID.UID2.

    • UID1 - Specify the UID that is created in SPFDisplayItem section located in the DisplayItem sheet.

    • UID2 - Specify the description from SPFDisplayItem section located in the DisplayItem sheet.

    • OrderValue - Specify the order in which the display items must appear.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.
