Animation > Settings > Display Sets

Provides override options that let you control the appearance and positioning of the display set during the capture process. You can also turn overrides on and off during the playback.

The steps below provide a general workflow.

  1. Click Animation > Playback/Capture Settings.
    -OR-
    Press ALT + 9.

  2. In the Common page:

    • Make sure Display sets is selected as the animation type. This option is automatically enabled when you create a display set animation.

    • Define the Step in days and Per seconds settings to determine the playback speed of the animation.

    • If you have ScheduleReview or Key Frame animations, but you want to see just the Display Set animation run in the playback, make sure only the Display sets animation type is selected.

For more information on the common settings, see Common Playback/Capture Settings.

  3. Click Display Sets, and place a checkmark by each display option you want to override or hide. These settings affect both the capture and playback of the display set.

Overrides - Turns on and off certain display settings. Display Set Animations can capture the display set render options for Show, Shade, Dim, Position, and Angle settings. When creating a display set animation, place a checkmark next to each option you want to include in the animation. By default, all options are enabled. For the playback, you can place a checkmark next to each setting so that it does not display. A display setting with no checkmark indicates that the override is off. When the override is turned off during playback, the setting displays as captured in the playback.

  4. If you want to record your animation and save it as a static image or an .avi file, click Record. Set options that define the playback size and display. See Record Settings for more information on recording options.

    Your settings are immediately applied.
