Animation > Record
Records either still frame images or animations. You can record animations to produce the following file types:
-
Smart Review creates an image at each animation point. Each image is saved in the form of:
[filename]-Year-Month-Day-Hour-Minute-Second.[raster file type extension].
-
Create an AVI file. The AVI file is compressed using the Microsoft Video 1 codec at 30 frames per second. This codec is an available standard on all current Microsoft operating systems.
-
Create a stereo AVI file. The creation of this AVI file requires the Photo-Realism module.
For an animation recording, Smart Review creates an AVI file that is saved when the animation playback or recording stops.
You can set a timestamp to display on the Main view showing the time information for the animations being played. The timestamp is captured when you create an AVI or a snapshot. For more information, see Display Timestamp.
