Accessories > Text Annotations > Edit > Many

Changes the information and appearance of text annotations. This command works similarly to the Edit > One command except that the command does not automatically exit after editing a single annotation.

  1. Click Accessories > Text Annotations > Edit > Many.

The command remains active so that you can select and edit additional annotations.

  2. Click the annotation that you want to edit; click again to accept.

The Edit Annotation dialog box appears. See Edit Annotation Dialog Box.

  3. Change the text and data attribute information:

    1. When you highlight all the information in the Annotation field, it gets automatically replaced when you type in new information or insert a data attribute.

    2. To append text or a data attribute to existing information, place your cursor in the field where you want to start and either type in the new text or insert data attributes.

  4. Change the Display options as needed.

  5. Change the Font and Bring to front options.

  6. Click OK to save your changes, and then click on the next annotation in the Main view that you want to edit.

When you change the Bring to front and Font options, all other placed text annotations automatically update to those global settings.

The Text setting under Display options and the Color setting available in the Font dialog box offer color options and are set per text annotation; they are not global options.
