Make sure you have selected a program database. For more information, see Open an Attachments Database.

Click Tools > Get External Data > Edit Types, and then click Insert.

Select an executable from the Select Executable dialog box.

Select a folder from the Default Directory dialog box.

From the Edit Types dialog box, select an existing type or double-click under Type to enter a new one.
The name of the new type cannot be the same as one of the existing types.
