A template is a named set of data tables that is used in the transfer procedure to fill the PDMS/ E3D data tables by simply copying the data from the template. The templates are project dependent.
All the PDMS related details on S.20.I.03 Specific interface details screen are inserted under the Templates tab.
To define templates for the transfer to PDMS/ E3D, click Integration > PDMS > PDMS Configuration and select the Templates tab.
You can do the following in the Templates screen.

Add a new Template: Click Add
above the tree, type the template name and a comment, and click Save
. Click Refresh
to display the new template in the tree.

View the Data Tables assigned to a Template: Expand the template in the tree view or double click the template to view the data tables in the PDMS Template Data Tables grid.

View the Sheet Details: Expand the template in the tree and double-click the data table.
Short description is mandatory for a code list data.

Copy and Paste PDMS Templates: You can duplicate an existing template with the corresponding data tables and data. Furthermore, you can copy (or cut) specific data table(s) with data from single or multiple template(s) to another template.
